Have you ever wondered, “What a State Treasurer does exactly?” Or “What it takes to run for office?”

Join us for a fascinating peek into the inner workings of the Office of the State Treasurer, Mississippi’s state bank. Your day will include lunch with the Honorable Lynn Fitch, State Treasurer of Mississippi; a tour of the State Capitol; and activities to help you build personal finance skills. You will also meet the staff of the Office of the State Treasurer, Women Leaders with Careers in Government, Banking and Finance, and learn about the different types of jobs they do.  Career Day is also a great way to expand your friendship circle and meet other Girl Scouts from around the Capital Area.

Notes: Uniforms are required for this event. Due to space limitations, this event is a “drop-off/pick-up event for girls only. Girls will be supervised by GSGMS staff. Every girl will need a completed Health Form (attached to the registration confirmation).
